DUE TO INJURY, ENTRY TO THIS RACE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 2011.
MORE DETAILS TO BE PUBLISHED SOON
On October 30th 2010 I will be dragging my oversized body across more than 26 miles of Wales’ most mountainous terrain competing in the Snowdonia Marathon.
I have been training for this Challenge since Christmas and although progress has been slow I have been increasing my running distance gradually and am up to 10 miles at present.
I will be raising money for Huggard which is Cardiff’s “Community Homelessness Charity” and offers a “Day Centre, Emergency Bed Unit and supported houses offering support and resettlement in the Community.”
I have done some work for Huggard this year and it’s really opened my eyes as to the scale and causes of homelessness and has questioned any preconceptions I ever had about homeless people.
This is my way of showing support for such a good cause that helps so many people.
